Neolithic "temple" near Truro (Cornwall)

Not much to see yet but archaeologists seem quite certain that they have located a structure which could be a Neolithic temple near Truro, Cornwall.

The structure was discovered by a geophysical survey preceding planned and controversial urban development in the Truro Eastern District.

The first areas to be excavated have so far yielded materials from the Roman and Celtic periods (boundary posts essentially) but a large circular structure, 80 m wide, surrounded by a trench and estimated to be from c. 3700 BCE lays underneath.

The shape would be similar to other religious structures from the British Neolithic but this one would be the first one to be located in Cornwall.

Source: This is Cornwall (via Pileta).

Update (Nov 5): The Archaeology Network provides some photos of the excavated are but the information is still sketchy.
